If you are anywhere near Pollock Pines and if you are hungry then you need to stop to the Burger Barn. This restaurant features a large selection of various, burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches at very reasonable prices. I personally enjoy a good hamburger and consider there’s to be one of the best! Their prices compete well with any fast food prices and the quality of the food and the service makes this a good choice for anyone looking for a good dining experience.  Diamond Springs Hotel

The Diamond Springs Hotel, which is just off of Highway 50 and is located on the main street (Pleasant Valley Road) running through Diamond Springs, is actually a restaurant and not a hotel. This is one of our favorite places to eat and it is recognized as the best comfort food in El Dorado County.

 Sequoia Restaurant

The Sequoia Restaurant is a place where Placerville and El Dorado County residents go for fine dining. The food, service and ambiance is unmatched. If you are in the mood for a fine dining experience then you just must try the Sequoia. In addition to the restaurant, they also host weddings, receptions and banquets.

 Buttercup Pantry

The Buttercup Pantry (another local favorite) is situated just off Highway 50 as you head toward Main Street in Placerville. The restaurant is family owned and operated. The food and the service is excellent and the fresh-baked pies and treats are the best!
